Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a key member of our office staff, you will play an important role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience for both our patients and rehabilitation team. Additionally, if you are seeking to attend PT/PTA school in the future, beyond getting excellent experience in the work environment, the hours worked as an Aide count for observation hours on your application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read each patients’ personalized rehabilitation program created by the Physical Therapists and set up equipment as indicated to assist with the flow of patients throughout the day.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the treatment area by cleaning tables, equipment and completing laundry.
- Answer phone calls professionally, schedule appointments, and answer general inquiries regarding services.
- Keep the office area clean and organized, equipment, common areas and treatment spaces.
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including filing and light office tasks.
Qualifications:
- Prior healthcare or physical therapy experience is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and professional work ethic
Schedule:
- Part-time position, with flexible hours from 3-8:30 pm to fit your availability.
